Sandy Spring Steelhead

The longer spring days are here! Below you will find some photos of the last few weeks on the Sandy.  April and May are shaping up to be great on this River. News flash! New to our operating plan with  guiding on the Sandy is a private launch site in the upper river*. This allows us to explore a new part of the river. What we have found is great flywater and  suclusion. This has really opened up a whole new opportunity to find fresh Steelhead without the added pressure of other boat traffic. What a pleasure it is! We have available dates in April and May if you would like to book a trip on this new float.  *launch fees required

Doug landed this native buck on the upper Sandy float! This is a new float that has little fishing pressure. The put in is private and the water is sweet!
